Day 1- Friday: Board
your evening transatlantic flight. Day 2 Saturday: Arrive in Nairobi early evening, where your tour director will meet you. He will
transfer you to the Norfolk Hotel.
Day 3 Sunday: Your guide will meet you at
your hotel in the morning and drive you to the Samburu National Reserve. You will arrive
for lunch and an afternoon game drive. (B, L, D)
Day 4 Monday: Full day of game viewing.
Animals likely to be seen include oryz, gerenuk, gazelle, Grey's Zebra, Reticulated
Giraffe and dikdik. Crocodiles bask on the sandbars; waterbuck feed on the riverbed
grasses; vervet monkey and baboon forage the riverine glades. Elephants appear from the
desert scrub in herds of up to 100. They drink and bathe in the river as a daily ritual.
Day 5 Tuesday: Depart for the Aberdare
National Park. Arrive for lunch at the famous treetops lodge.
Afternoon game drive in the park where there is an abundance of game.
Leopards are often seen along rhino and giant forest hog. (B, L, D)
Day 6 Wednesday: Travel to the premiere
reserve of Kenya, Maasai Mara. Stop for lunch in Lake Naivasha and arrive in time for an
evening game drive.
With its wealth of animals and the magnetic presence of the Maasai, the
area has a brilliance that captures the African wilds. The Mara is primary open country
and is an ideal habitat for thousands of topi, impala, zebra, Cape buffalo and wildebeest.
Resident lion prides are among the largest in Africa. (B, L, D)
Day 7 Thursday: Full day of game viewing.

Day 8 Friday: Morning
game drive. Then continue to Nairobi and stay overnight ant the Norfolk Hotel. Day
9 Saturday: Morning departure for Amboseli National
Park. Eat lunch at the Serena Lodge, then it is time for an afternoon game drive. The
wildlife is abundant and the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro presents thrilling photo
opportunities. (B, L, D)
Day 10 Sunday: Full day of game viewing in
Amboseli National Park. (B, L, D)
Day 11 Monday: Depart for Tsavo National
Park. Have lunch at Kilaguni Lodge and an afternoon game drive.
Tsavo has a reputation for rugged beauty and is a good place to view the
famous red elephant. Their color is a result of bathing in the dust of the lateritic soil.

Day 12 Tuesday: Full day of game viewing.
Visit Mzima Springs and the underwater observatory. Here you have an opportunity to watch
hippo and crocodile in their true element.
Day 13 Wednesday: Return to Nairobi and
stay overnight at the Norfolk Hotel.
Day 14 Thursday: Transfer to the airport
accompanied by your escort who will assist you through the departure formalities. (B)

in New York / Kennedy Airport early afternoon. |
