Day 1 Saturday - Depart New York/Kennedy Airport on Air France in the
evening.
Day 2 Sunday - Arrive Conakry,Guinea via Paris in the late afternoon. You
will be greeted at the airport and transferred to the first class Novotel.
Day 3 Monday - After breakfast depart for Dubreka and visit to "dog which
smokes". Continue to the Cascades de Soumba. Tour of the site then lunch and
time to relax on the beach before dinner and a tradotional dance
entertainment in the evening. Ovenright Cascades de Soumba.
Day 4 Tuesday - After breakfast depart for Boffa and the village of
Farenya. This village is known for its historical relationship to descendants
of African American ancestory from South Carolina. Visit the village and the
palace of the Queen Nyara Belly, visit to the center dedicated to the
uprising of slaves in the region and participate in cultural activities of
the village. Visit the former slave trade locations of Dominiah, Kossisi and
Meyenkhoure before continuing to Bel-Air for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Wednesday - City tour and visit to a small fishing village and the
markets of Sogbane. This evening dinner will include a cultural activity of
the region.
Day 6 Thursday - After breakfast depart for the town of Boffa. Tour the
sights of Boffa and then continue to Kondeyah. Lunch at the ranch of
Kondeyah and a tour of the area. This evening lodging will be at Mokebounyi
with dinner and a local cultural activity.
Day 7 Friday - Breakfast then tour to Mokebounyi and Vkoile de la Mariee
(Wedding Veil). After touring both sights return to Conakry and overnight at
the Novotel.
Day 8 Saturday - City tour visiting the National Museum, Cathedral, the
Kakimbon caves and other places of interest. Return to your hotel in the
early afternoon with time to rest and pack for your return flight. Early
evening transfer to the airport for Air France.
Day 9 Sunday - Arrive New York/Kennedy Airport via Paris in the early
afternoon.

Price includes tour only or air and tour from New York, airport meeting and transfer services, first class hotel accommodations or best at location, breakfast & dinner daily, English speaking tour guide, hotel taxes and service charges.
