Unforgettable Botswana Safari

Day 1 ­ Friday:  Depart New York / Kennedy Airport early evening.

Day 2 ­ Saturday:  Arrive in Johannesburg and transfer to the Holiday Inn Jan Smuts Airport for an overnight stay.

Day 3 ­ Sunday:  Return to the airport for your flight to Maun, Botswana. You will be met and transferred to your charter flight for the Okavango Delta. Accommodations at deluxe tented camp with private attached shower and toilet. The Okavango experience has something for everyone. The quiet waterways offer perfect mokoro opportunities ­ complete with good game viewing. On the game drives you usually see lion, elephant, buffalo, lechwe and even leopards. Besides all the big game there is excellent bird viewing. Drinks on the game ride and table wine at dinner are included.

Day 4 ­ Monday:  The Okavango, activities twice daily.

Day 5 ­ Tuesday:  Morning wildlife activity before transferring by charter aircraft to the Moremi Game Reserve. You will spend two nights in a deluxe-tented camp with private en suite facilities. Elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and all the major predators are common in the region. Bird life is prolific with parrot among the species found on the floodplains and in the woodland.

Day 6 ­ Wednesday:  Moremi provides one of the highest quality wildlife viewing opportunities in Africa. Game viewing in the morning and late afternoon.

Day 7 ­ Thursday:  Breakfast, game drive and then transfer by private aircraft to Chobe ­ Linyanti Region. The area is most noted for its large elephant populations. Which can reach enormous densities. There a good number of impala, lechwe, kudu, zebra, giraffe, sitatunga, sable, roan, buffalo, lion, cheetah, leopard and hyena. The reed and papyrus swamps are ideal for numerous and diverse species of birds. This is one of the prime unspoiled animal habitats in the world.

Day 8 ­ Friday:  Game drives twice daily.

Day 9 ­ Saturday:  Game drives twice daily.

Day 10 ­ Sunday:  Morning game activity. Then fly to Kasane and land transfer to Victoria Falls. Accommodations at either llala Lodge or Elephant Hills.

Day 11 ­ Monday:  Late morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg, and connecting flight to New York.

Day 12 ­ Tuesday:  Arrive New York / Kennedy Airport early morning.
